How do I recalibrate the reference frequency (A4)?

On the main screen, tap the A4 value (440 Hz by default) and raise or lower the reference. The new frequency applies to every instrument until you change it again.

How do I switch instruments (guitar, bass, ukulele, cavaquinho, mandolin)?

Open settings with the config button, then use the instrument picker and choose the one in your hands.

Why does the app ask for microphone access?

The microphone is how the app hears the string and calculates the pitch. Without that permission it cannot measure tuning. iOS asks the first time; you can change it later in Settings.

Is captured audio stored or sent to a server?

No. Sound is processed on the device, in real time. Nothing is recorded, stored, or sent to a server.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Once installed, the tuner does not need the internet. Measuring pitch and switching instruments happen on the iPhone itself.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Write to the email below. If something is broken, include your iPhone model and iOS version. Instrument and feature requests are welcome too.
